I did not think very much about pumpkin seeds in my diet but doing some reading I realized that It was important that we add them in our diet. Also, what I like is to make muffins and add pumpkins seeds very delicious.

Why adding pumpkin seeds?

1. Pumpkin seeds are rich in iron.
Just ¼ of a cup is equivalent to 16% of your daily needs.

2. Raw, green pumpkin seeds
They have a high amount of natural chlorophyll which alkalizes and naturally cleanses the body.

3. Pumpkin seeds
are also rich in fiber that can help regulate blood sugar and improve insulin regulation.

4. Pumpkin seeds
are a great source of soy-free protein for those that have a soy allergy.

5. Pumpkin seeds
are a rich source of protein and amino acids particularly tryptophan, the amino acid that enhances serotonin production in the body.

6. Pumpkin seeds
contain 23% of your daily zinc needs in just ¼ cup serving. Zinc helps carbohydrate metabolism in the body, hormone production, and even improves immune health and even your skin, hair, and nails.

7. Pumpkin seeds
are a great source of omega 3 fatty acids and monounsaturated fats that protect your heart, prevent inflammation, and help manage your weight.

8. Pumpkin seeds
They are also a rich source of magnesium.

I would love to hear from you.

Have a nice week,
Gaétane
