I did not think very much about pumpkin seeds in my diet, but after doing some reading, I realized that It was important that we add them to our diet. Also, I like making salads and adding pumpkin seeds very delicious.

Why add pumpkin seeds?

1. Pumpkin seeds are rich in iron.
Just ¼ of a cup is equivalent to 16% of your daily needs.

2. Raw, green pumpkin seeds
They have a high amount of natural chlorophyll that alkalizes and cleanses the body.

3. Pumpkin seeds
are also rich in fibre which can help regulate blood sugar and improve insulin regulation.

4. Pumpkin seeds
are a great source of soy-free protein for those with a soy allergy.

5. Pumpkin seeds
are a rich source of protein and amino acids, particularly tryptophan, the amino acid that enhances serotonin production in the body.

6. Pumpkin seeds
contain 23% of your daily zinc needs in just ¼ cup serving. Zinc helps carbohydrate metabolism in the body, hormone production, and even improves immune health and your skin, hair, and nails.

7. Pumpkin seeds
omega-3 fatty acids and monounsaturated fats are excellent sources that protect your heart, prevent inflammation, and help manage your weight.
